Whitten's Automotive Machine Shop History

In 1996 the Flower Mound and Lewisville areas were being serviced by two local engine rebuilding shops. Flowermound Machine shop was located on fm407 and serviced many customers as far away as Decatur Texas. The owner Clark Dishman built his business from ground up.
His goal for the business was to provide customer service, quality engine and head rebuilding, and an old fashioned attitude. He knew just about everyone that walked through his door or they were refered by someone that used Flowermound Machine shop. In 1999 Flowermound Machine Shop moved to it's current location off the N35E access road where he continued to keep working with his same goals.
In 2007 Tom Whitten purchased the business from Clark Dishman and the name changed to Whitten's Automotive Machine Shop. Even though the name changed not much has. Clark is still the senior engine machinist and builder on staff and the same customer comes first attitude still applies. The Whitten Family strives to provide great service at a great price.
