    • There are a few different materials used in the construction of crankshafts;
      1. Cast: Low performance upto 350hp.
      2. Nodular Iron: Better than cast when it comes to strength, supports upto 450 hp. And, as price goes it's a better option than Forged at less than half the price.
      3. Forged: Stronger still but for the strength you pay more than twice the price of nodular or cast. If you are building an engine that needs to support 500hp and above Forged is the way to go.
      4. Billet: This is reserved for big budget builds that need custom designed cranks. Billets are basically kept instock as a billet rod, when the customer calls for a specific design they machine the rod down to a crank. These are very high dollar.
    • This Nodular Iron crankshaft is the perfect answer for someone looking to build their first performance engine or first engine for that matter. It's cost effective and is a foundation that you can build good hp on.

    • We also have in stock rods (i-beam and h-beam) and pistons (hypereutetic and forged) for a complete engine package.
